The Seedpod Vase from Swedish Cooee Design is ceramic vase shaped to look like a seed capsule. Anders Pfeffer Gjengedal originally designed the shape which has a coarse sanyou texture. Display the gorgeous vase with a few dried reeds or by itself as a statement piece. The inside of the vase is glazed to withstand water, but since ceramics are a porous material, it is recommended that you let the vase rest and dry from time to time. Wipe clean with a feather duster.

The vases have a long and complex production. Starting with the molds which are hand carved by artist and former ballet dancer Anders Pfeffer Gjengedal in his workshop close to Oslo, Norway. Cooee has developed the originals to ceramic hollow vases making them possible to use with water and fresh flowers.

The ceramic vase have a rough and sandy surface.

The stoneware contains tiny grains that make each product unique.
